Clare Melford, Redefining Growth | VLearn
Clare Melford is the former CEO of the International Business Leaders Forum, an organisation which workins with leaders across business, government and civil society to stimulate smart, inclusive and responsible business growth for a more sustainable world. Clare led the transition of the European Council on Foreign Relations, a foreign policy think tank, from being part of George Soros’s Open Society Foundation, to independent status. She has also worked with the Nobel Women’s Initiative, formed by the female winners of the Nobel Peace prize, to build relationships in the business world.
In the corporate sector, Clare was regional head of MTV Networks, Nordic, the 3rd largest commercial broadcaster in the Nordic region. She ran music and children’s TV channels, websites and mobile TV businesses across Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. Originally trained as a Management Consultant with Marakon Associates Clare holds an MA from the University of Oxford and a post graduate certificate from Cambridge.
