Dr Bob Doherty, Professor and Chair in Marketing, University of York, at the Sustainability Research Institute, Leeds.
Dr Docherty specialises in research on the marketing aspects of fair trade and social enterprises. He is an Honorary Research Fellow at the Third Sector Research Centre (TSRC) at the University of Birmingham. He is also a member of the organising committees for both the International Social Innovation Research Conference (ISIRC) and also the International Fair trade Symposium. For the past five years he has been editor of the Emerald publishers Social Enterprise Journal and is also editorial board member of the Corporate Responsibility and Environmental management Journal (Wiley Publishers). Previously he spent five years as Head of Sales and Marketing at the Fairtrade social enterprise, Divine Chocolate Ltd.
